The Tyla I have known through the years is fun, witty, wise, and thrifty.
I always have the best time when I am with you Tyla! I cannot think about you and the past two decades without smiling.
Some of my favorite moments with Tyla are her begging me to buy her some Fun Dip when she was super sick. She insisted the sugar would make her feel better. Or us getting in trouble for her serving the volleyball off the apartment wall over and over again, perfecting her serve. I even played sand volleyball with her once. ONCE. Because I was terrible and even in a casual game Tyla could not afford to have to lose. So I played on the team opposing her and we were both happy.
Going out dancing with her and Chelsea was always a good memory too. And anytime I hear there is a Greek Festival around I don’t think of yummy baklava, I remember a sunny day spent at in Utah’s Greek Festival with Tyla.
A decade later, Tyla taught me the yummiest way to make whole grain pancakes. She introduced me to millet (which I thought was a last name and not a super grain). Tyla remains such a hard worker. From the waitress working two jobs to building and moving homes along with Jeff. She is constantly learning ways to improve food storage and healthy eating.
I have always loved the relationship between you Hutchins. Now you are raising sweet, respectful children and have an exemplary relationship with your great husband. I love thinking that Ty and I knew each other before we had even met these great men that we married. It still surprises me that we married men so similar too!
Tyla, I can’t wait to see how you in the next twenty years! You are an amazing lady. I look up to you so much and am glad that you have been my good friend from the twenties, thru the thirties and now on to 40!
Congratulations on hitting the big 40. I can’t wait to see what you do with the next 40!

Lots of love,
Marla

Big Sis

Tyla and I have had a very long and rocky relationship....it all started when she ruined my only child gig.  After 40 years of her tagging along I can say with all honesty (and a straight face) that she turned out to be someone I wouldn't know what to do without and she is also one amazing woman.  I have so many fun and not so fun memories from major fights in high school to her putting cow dung in someone's locker that was mean to me.  I remember her rolling out of bed 2 minutes before we had to be to work at Burger King to LATE nights playing pranks at Raintree Apartments in Provo.  She was a wonderful example as she served a mission much to the shock of us all, and now a supermom of 5.
I am proud to call her sister!

Love ya Ty....

Misty~ What I like most about Aunt Tyla is... she gives me food, she gives me hugs.

Well, sorry I did not ask my boys... I am not sure where to begin, Tyla  is my one of my sisters that I have looked up to my whole life and I still look up to her in life, in being a mom, in being a wife. She is awesome. She has a strong testimony of the gospel and loves the Lord. She is kind, she is thoughtful, over that past 40 years she has not lost the spark of life that makes her dynamite  She has it buried a bit, but she still has it. She is still fun and full of life. She is happy and content with life and what it has handed her. She is great mom and wonderful wife and I love her soooo much. My kiddos love her and we are very thankful to live so close to her. It is great!!! I hope you have a great, fabulous day, and here is to 40 more wonderful, happy years. I love you sis!~Mandy

Tyla and I had many memories. One that stands out that shows Tyla's fight and determination was when we carried her out of the cabin at cascade during the reunion during the water fight! (There is a picture floating around. If anyone has it they should post it) it took 4 of us to get her out of the house and some of us were injured in the process!
Happy birthday sis.  They say ur over the hill, that means it's all down hill and green lights! Hang on and enjoy the ride!!

Pariera Family

Creed-Tyla, is a fun aunt, she is really nice and I remember her inner tubing down the hill and screaming the whole time.  She is really good at being a Mom.

Crew- Aunt Ty is the best because she lets me play the wii and watch movies when I am at her house.
and she feeds me good :)

Azlyn-Aunt Ty played with me at the beach and at the park, and she is coming to visit me this summer.  She is so fun.

Thad-Tyla was very accepting of me when I was dating Trina. We had a lot of fun at her house in Showlow playing rook, even though Trina and her cheated to win, we still had fun.

Trina-If I had a box of Mac-N-Cheese, I would post a picture and say enough said... but I will explain for those who don't know the story.... We were in the carport in Aztec making dinner, and she decided it was "Time" for me to learn my manners.  We sit up tall, with the napkin in our lap, we bring the food to our mouth, and DO NOT smack, we chew with our mouth closed and swallow before taking another bite.
Needless to say it is a great memory etched in my mind and I love my sister for that!

Amata Boys

- Nate
She is a very hard worker because she has the most kids.  She is always trying to help.

- Kyle
Even when she disagrees or is mad at someone she finds a nice way to say it.  I always know she'll take my mom's side if we are having an argument. She would help me with my Spanish when I lived in Sanford.

- Braiden
She is always firm or strongly opinion-ed...she is not afraid to speak her mind.  One Kyle wouldn't let me play with his air soft gun and I thought it wasn't fair and she said that being the second child, I'd better get used to it because it would never be fair.

- Ethan
For the Idaho family reunion I remember the water fight and Tyla was inside because she didn't want to get wet and Keeton, Jared, and Chas tried to pick her up and carry her out...all the cousins got buckets of water  and threw them at her.  She was VERY UPSET and I think she hurt someone...I remember that we had to stay out side when we went to play so we didn't play video games.

Well besides being unbelievably beautiful and put together, you are just happy Tyla.  Your eyes are always twinkling.  I love to be around you because you are so fun to talk to, you have great advice, you are determined, and seem to keep your priorities straight.  I am so glad to be your cousin.

Love you so much!

Sheri Wicks

Hi, I have very fond memories of Tyla in Vanderhoof.  Her and I were often together laughing, talking, and encouraging each other in the gym...in fact, I think that's where we met!  When together, people often thought we were sisters (probably because of the blonde hair and blue eyes).  I think the world of Tyla... she has a heart of gold and true compassion.  God bless you Tyla in this year and many more.  Love you, Sheri Wicks
